"Unlike other hotels the Velvet lives up to expectations and delivers what it promises. We were met by a great host and given a glass of Prosecco on check in. One of our rooms wasn’t quite what we expected but we were quickly moved to another room which exceeded expectations and our stay was amazing. We would recommend and so would our friends who we booked the other room for. Great value for money and fabulous rooms! "

"The bar and eating area above the bar as you enter was very unique. The extra areas made for sitting and eating was very cool. The upstairs bar/balcony was so beautiful! Everything about this hotel amazed us. The room we stayed in was a 2 story room with a balcony looking over the living room area. It was very awesome and had a rustic feel to it. We fell in love with every aspect of this hotel! It made our honeymoon the best."

"The hotel is very central. The room was simple, a decent size, spotless and very light. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Discounted parking 100 yards away. Will definitely stay here next time in Manchester."
