"A very clean and spacious cabin/house with total privacy. Easy access from the highway and close to the NCNP and hiking trails. Owner is easily accessible if there are any issues. Kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware needed-however bring any foods/spices/etc as there is only S&P available at the cabin. Recommended for a long term accommodations."

"We Wanted to spend a couple nights in a cabin on the river while doing hikes in the North Cascades. we felt ourselves to be extremely fortunate to have found Somnia Vera Riverside retreat. The cabin and setting were gorgeous. Everything was carefully thought out by the owners. Communication was exemplary. We travel frequently and this will definitely be on our shortlist of places to come back to soon."

"The Rainbow House and Annex are Beautiful , very clean and comfortable. The Annex Hideaway bedroom is nice and dark when lights are out , with a comfortable queen bed . I love a dark bedroom to sleep . Kitchen's are well supplied with everything you need to cook and serve a meal . Just bring the food . There's local restaurant's if you want to eat out . The owners are super nice and quick to respond if you have a question or need . These places are in a beautiful area surrended by the beautiful Cascade mountains . Ideal places to stay to view and hike the many trails . So many beautiful views of waterfalls that you can view from your vehicle, if your not hiking . The MarbleMount ranger station has all the information about the hikes . After hiking it is enjoyable just setting on the porches enjoying the Beautiful scenery , so peaceful and relaxing . This truly is one of my favorite places to visit . I plan to come here as often as I can . I hope others can visit this awesome place . Oh... a big plus is the laundry room for those who bring limited clothing . Another bonus lots of hot water and towels . Want to also mention on rainy days there are puzzles and games and the book shelves are full , and also TV. If you just want to relax watching a movie. Lots of options for a couple or a family . We had a great time at The Rainbow House and Annex .💖🌈🤗💞 "

"Quiet place with self check in. Communication was good. We got a room with a shared bathroom since it was just my daughter and I it worked out well. I would not recommend this for a family stay. The room was small without a TV but there was a shared area with a TV fridge and microwave. Worked out well for our one night visit to North Cascades."

"We went hiking at Maple Pass loop so glad to find this place. We arrived in the dark and had some difficulty locating the house so highly recommend getting there during the daytime. The front door wouldn’t open but luckily back door wasn’t locked so we could get in and contacted the management and they came out the next day to fix the door. The house was surrounded by mountains and trees and just peaceful. Management alerted us that the bed was only for 2 ppl and extra ppl would have to sleep on sofa. Our kids thought it was not comfortable to sleep on so keep that in mind. We also had difficulty opening the gate, it got stuck and needed strength to open so hopefully that will get fixed. "

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

"We went up to visit my daughter who lives in the North Cascade mountains. This was the perfect location to meet up with her. The place is remote but not too remote. The property, the views, and the area are gorgeous. Driving to the cabin gave me a sense of serenity. The property manager, Sarah, was proactive in her communication and very helpful with her recommendations for the area. She is probably one of the best hosts I've dealt with in all of my rentals. She provided me with detailed information on how to get into the cabin, the ins and outs of the cabin, and the Marblemount area. The home was exactly as listed. Driving up the place was a treat in and of itself. The overhanging trees were a beautiful surprise for someone living in the city. I loved the modern day touch of the home with the feel of being in the country. There was plenty of space to move around, it had all the amenities we needed, and it was cozy for the few rainy days/evenings that we had. We could not have been happier with our visit. I would have loved to be out on the patio more but the rain had other ideas. Still, when it was clear in the evening, we were able to stand outside and experience the vastness of the evening, star-filled sky. If you are in the Marblemount area, this would be the ideal place to stay."

Base camp for family adventures in the North Cascades

Perfect scenario for our North Cascade Park adventures

"Our family of 6 loved everything about this set-up. It allowed us to enjoy some of the ambiance of camping but without having to fly from out of state with all our gear and real beds and indoor plumbing was a plus. The community where this lodging is located is beautiful, quiet and convenient access to the National Park which was our focus. There were a few issues that came up during our stay but Sarah, the property manager, was in regular communication with me and was quick to remedy what she could quickly. I asked her loads of questions throughout our stay related to the property and things to do in the area and she was always very helpful. We'd definitely come back again. As the listing says, it wouldn't be ideal for someone with mobility issues as the only negative is a lot of up and down between the main cabin and cooking area with running water, but otherwise no complaints."
