"A good clean unit with modern and good quality furniture, dishes, shower etc. We had a good night's sleep thanks to the firm king size bed and peacefull atmosphere. Happy to go back again when in Blenheim next."

"Pros: Good location. Clean. Helpful staff. Daily complimentary coffee, tea, snacks. Daily chocolate delivered to room. Cons: Property a bit dated. Dark decor not for everyone’s taste. No safe in the room. Any cons, though, were offset by the friendliness and willingness of the staff and the services provided by the hotel. Overall, a quiet and comfortable stay in a good location. "

"Blown away by the beauty of this place. Very comfortable accomodation right on the Queen Charlotte Track. Our patio had a gorgeous view and led straight down to the water. There were hammocks and a hot tub right there by the lodge. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast. "

"A true farm house with chickens and fresh fruit trees. The house and our bedroom and bath were well furnished and clean. The owners were warm and very nice and had fresh fruit from the farm for us. The views down the hill were beautiful as well. We had returned from Golden Bay and heading west the next day and this being in Hope saved us a good 20 minutes being west of Nelson. Definitely recommend. "

"This is an amazing location with wonderful views - unfortunately the weather was overcast and cool for summer so no stars at night. The rooms are good and maximise the views. Ok its not really five star but good given the location. I do have to comment on the food. A few tweaks could have made a big difference. The beef was beautiful produce but sadly overcooked. and I would not call a bowl of cold brocollini and sum raw baby spinach with a simple dressing a course. its an accompaniment. ...
