"We stayed in this lovely property in August. The garden and pool are beautiful. Willy was always at the end of a WhatsApp message if there were any problems. We only have 2 criticisms. The garden gate cannot be secured. Thankfully our grandson understood that he was not to go out to see the chickens (who he loved to feed our prawn shells to) without an adult with him, younger children may not. "The host famy are very nice people and explained everything well. The house is light and welcoming. The outside area has a great pool and the garden is large with various seating options. We especially enjoyed eating outside at the large table. It is advertised as 9 people but realistically two beds were on the floor, so suits 7 perfectly. We very much appreciated the late check out due to no booking following us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Nice location. Near beach. House well equipped. We arrived late due to ferry/journey, so property manager not available- fair enough - but Vrbo didn't send house number with address which caused a problem, then once in we found a dirty coffee cup in the sink, the fridge freezer had been turned off and absolutely stank, defrosted food in the freezer and water all over the floor so we were cleaning and mopping. Not a great start. Also BBQ didn't work, either no gas or ignition faulty."

"Pour un week-end entre amis, la maison est parfaite pour accueillir nos 4 couples. Des chambres confortables et tous les équipements pour se sentir comme à la maison. La cuisine est très bien équipée et c’est très appréciable. La terrasse et sa vue sont sublimes, on aurait pu passer 4 jours accoudés à regarder la mer ! L’immense véranda pour manger, se reposer, prendre l’apéro est un vraie plus pour les journées pluvieuses et les soirées fraîches. Des hôtes disponibles et bienveillants, bref...

"We had a great holiday here with two families. House was well appointed and equipped and the grounds and pool house are fabulous! The only drawback is that the owners haven't paid for refuse collection so we had to cart our rubbish to the nearest town. The surrounding area is lovely, with a short drive to beaches and seaside towns. The nearest town, Avrillé, does not have a lot to offer but has a small shop, takeaway and nice patisserie. Le Bernard is walkable from the house and has a lovely...

"This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...
