St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne’s famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Catani Gardens, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street. It is home to St Kilda beach, Melbourne’s most famous beach, several renowned theatres and several of Melbourne’s big events and festivals.

The main street in St Kilda is Fitzroy Street. It’s lined with outdoor pubs, cafes and restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines showcasing Melbourne’s multicultural heritage.

The café society of Acland Street first bloomed with the influx of cosmopolitan European migrants in the 1950s. That heritage can still be seen in the European-style cake shops, cafes and designer shops that line the street.

With so many cuisines to choose from, you’ll find every taste bud is satisfied with the array of options in this foodie paradise. Beautiful views. Extremely noisy at night with traffic noise. Cars and motorcycles use Beaconsfield Parade as a deag strip at night. Balcony door heavy and difficult to shut. Rubbish on bed on arrival. Keys really hard to access - had to get on knees to get down to key box. Ridiculous. No air conditioning or dishwasher. No plug for kitchen sink, so pretty tricky to washup. Filthy fingerprint ridden and greasy glasses greeted us in cupboard. Then expecting us to leave property clean (which we did). Bedroom windows with no blinds so very light all night and early morning. Howling dog in neighbouring apartment. Howled and barked till 11.30 at night. Crickets chirping in the bedroom each night. Had to spray. No sleep to be had in this apartment. Small dated bathroom. Tiny separate toilet. Host did not respond to messages or phone calls. TV not connected on arrival. Aerial not plugged in and hard to access. Long walk to get to any shops. Restaurant over the road - nothing else. Overpriced for what it offered. Extremely disappointing. Property manager needs to respond to messages.

Fantastic!
What a great little apartment! I enjoyed my short stay here, the location is perfect, the view from the kitchen window was a joy to wake up to each morning. The location is great, easy to get too via car/uber/taxi . Very clean, comfy bed with bathroom amenities. Heater provided too. Beach and walk paths across the road. Shops down the street to the left only a short walk away. Quiet building, hardly saw anybody, but those I did were friendly. It feels safe. Check in was easy (even though I had a blonde moment ) but the communication through the app was spot on, couldnt fault the help they provided - Thank you! Would easily stay here again!! Highly recommend

Beautiful location.
Was a great stay. Super comfy bed. Amazing views. Short walk from public transport and a nice bar and restaurant just across the road. Best cafe just around the corners that’s dog friendly to. Loved the secure gated parking but the numbered park was extremely hard to find. Would definitely come back again tho.
