"2nd floor has a very fish oil smell from the restaurant. Besides that, the modern Japanese rooms are unreal, awesome amenities, great onsen, with a cold pool, no sauna. Staff were excellent, there are places for smoking. A Family Mart just around the corner, and good restaurants around, although is dark to walk around at night. But seems more for groups and families that are staying exclusively in the onsen."

"The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good.
