"Absolutely perfect. I could not have found a better host anywhere. The room is clean and lovely. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast are just delicious. Mother is a really good cook and I had the best vegetable roll and potato and egg samosa i have tried anywhere. The host made us so welcome and helped us with everything. He did all the hard work for us! The driver is lovely too. I feel privileged to stay here and regret I cannot stay longer"

"This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. "this is for adventurers only who are fine with living in the nature. my 4 years old son and I loved it. the service was excellent and the homemade food served at the restaurant is the best we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. "

"I booked with them deluxe room with king bed ocean view, they tried to give me garden view and they were trying to convince me it is the best room in the hotel, my friend discovered that the room was garden view, when we told them, they took us to an ocean view room with with single beds, they tried to put the 2 beds togethers with 2 Matterses with 2 covers. I was so upset because they were trying to cheat me, I asked them for king bed or upgrade with king bed, they gave me the upgrade with king...

"Lovely home stay, Baggi was friendly, helpful & accommodating and it is a great spot with a beautiful garden. The walls are thin though so take ear plugs if you are sensitive sound but otherwise I enjoyed my time here. "

"This hotel lived up to the great ratings it has received...and then some. Every employee we encountered was warm and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, the rooms lovely. Best was all the elephant themed art work throughout the property. It was like walking in a modern art museum!"

"We spent three nights here and had a most relaxing and enjoyable experience. The staff were exceptional and the property well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the pool excellent for an early morning swim. The restaurant caters for all tastes and the traditional curry meal for two is a must. "

"The staff were all very helpful, and we felt very welcome. They organise a safari trip and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was amazing The hotel was undergoing some minor restoration but this did not interfere with our stay."

Wonderful

"We loved our 3 night stay here .The hotel was everything we could have asked for - wonderful ,friendly staff(shout out to Champika and Dilshan and everyone else ),lovely accomodation and the food was exceptional.We came here straight from Colombo airport with our excellent driver ,Dushan Theekshana and while here we climbed Sigiryia Rock ,visited Dambulla caves ,enjoyed a wonderful local cultural show in Habarana and will take in Polonnaruwa on our way to Uga Bay .We could have done a safari but we are doing one later in our trip . So glad we came to Sri Lanka and equally glad we picked this hotel ."
