"The hotel/lodge is going through a renovation program and I stayed in a renovated room - a comfortable, modern design. A few thoughts on the room design: there's an auto on-off for the lighting in the bathroom which is strange and not desirable - I'd rather have dimmer switches so that each guest's specific lighting levels can be achieved easily. Also, the corridors in the hotel are long, brick (on the lower floors), and serpentine as they twist and wind to the elevator at the far end of...

"Always a delight to stay at the Jasper. Great area, very lively and vibey. Right next to Victoria Markets, a great variety of eateries from the recently hatted Patsy’s to Asian cheap and cheerful.And only a couple of stops away from heart of the city on the free tram service. "

"A little disappointed compared to past stays. The internet wasn’t working which was a problem on a business trip. The complementary coffee and pastries advertised in the elevator look excellent. The reality was the cheap freezer croissants were inedible and flowery. Usually it’s a lot better. Will go back but hope this feedbacks helps them sharpen up. "
