"Family of 4 with 2 teenagers stayed 3 nights. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in a good spot so close to subway only 3 stops from central Kyoto, Family Mart maybe 50 metres walk. Very short walk to Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. Room was nice but a bit tight for 4 people, we managed but you would need two rooms if staying for longer than 3 nights. "

"This wasn't in the heart of the Kyoto center but we paid roughly $33 per night. Did not have daily cleaning but left fresh towns and pajamas on the door every afternoon. The room temp could not be cooled and they had the windows wired shut. So the sleeping conditions were not ideal for my liking but my wife loved it.
