"If you like the luxury of staying in a hotel and having your bed made, your towels changed daily, and mix and mingle with others on the beach and bar, this is not the place for you. If you just want to be left alone and have a really quiet and relaxing vacation in peace, this is definitely an option. The pictures you see in the advertisement are accurate. The place really does look like this. However, it is a little dated and anything metal is corroded because the place is so close to the ocean and salt water ages everything. It is also a home so it does not have the fancy hotel furniture but has furniture you would find in someone's home. The bed is very comfortable and I had some of the best sleep in a long time. I do suggest an eye mask because the light from the AC and the TV were bothering me but maybe would not you while you sleep. You definitely should have a car while you are there. You can walk to town if you wanted to but it is quite a walk. The outside deck is fantastic. It is overlooking the ocean and you have your own very deep saltwater pool. All in all, I loved being there but, again, if you don't have a car, you may be really bored there unless you like being alone. As far as your hosts are concerned, they are very nice. Daniel speaks only French but his wife speaks some English. We loved staying there and we had a super relaxing time. "
