"The Holland House is an excellent hotel. I want to give a shout out to some special people who help me Diana an excellent manager she help me with setting up dinner, sunset cruise, taxi to the hotel and decor in our room. Luisanne excellent in decorator, words can't express how happy I am with the room decor. Matilda the taxi driver who did the island tour with us and took us back to the hotel, very knowledgeable and spiritual and positive human being. I love Matilde so much such a delightful person and her spirit really touches you. Let's not forget the excellent personality and waiter in dietary Keisha, she is excellent always greet with a smile and came to serve and make sure you were good. The female bartender I don't know her name, but she been there a year is excellent and is definitely made for the Holland House Beach Hotel. I cannot forget Ms Queenie, the local who I got to meet, have her give massage and buy some items from her. She is a doll and very positive spirit is just a joy.Alot of names I cannot remember but the service and decor are definitely superb. You get STAR 5 in my book, if I am every in St. Maarten again, I am staying at the Holland House Beach Hotel. Thank you all, you are great and I am glad I got to share memories for my husband 60th Birthday in your resort."

"With the assistance of desk staff , Tacoma, a personal property loss at the airport was resolved with his efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. kudos to him! Property appears to be in need of renovation and updated maintenance. Stairs difficult without a working elevator. No ability to lock the sliding doors to ground level balcony. AC less than adequate - never got room temperature below 80*"

"The view was amazing! Every morning was peaceful, sitting outside with coffee. To the left, we caught a bit of the sunrise, and to the right, a stunning sunset over Fort Amsterdam.The condo was spotless, on the 2nd floor with a small elevator (and wide stairs). The fully equipped kitchen had both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Body soap and hand soap in bathrooms. Hair dryer. The washer and dryer worked great. Bath towels were high-quality, and beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella were provided. Beds were very comfortable. Individual AC in each room kept everyone comfy!The front balcony faced a quiet street at night, while the back balcony was oceanfront. This location is at the far end of the beach, away from cruise ships. They arrive around 8 AM, but most people don’t come this far, so the beach remained peaceful.We rented a car to explore the island but found we loved Great Bay Beach the most—it was the calmest.Matthew was attentive, communicated well, and responded quickly to questions. Parking was easy, with a reserved spot behind the condo gates. The building had a locked keypad entry, and we always felt very safe—both at the condo and throughout the island.A short boardwalk leads to the cruise ship area, where vendors are open during the day but close by 5 PM. The area is quiet at night, with only a few restaurants open. Double Dutch Café on the boardwalk has essentials, and Sunny Foods, a larger grocery store, is just a 5-minute drive (open 8 AM–8 PM, "

"Great weekend getaway. This place is located right on the beach, tons of shops and good food and entertainment within easy walking distance. This is a family run place and they are very friendly. I received a warm welcome and they showed me to my room. Next time I come back to the island, I will try to get a room here. "
