It’s the price you pay for the absolutely amazing views. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. "

"I stayed here twice and the units are clean, comfortable, and basic. My only note is that unit 17 seems to be next to some sort of machinery that runs intermittently, and shakes the entire unit at all hours of the day. I used earplugs and was able to sleep, but definitely a bit odd. Otherwise, this place is great - staff is friendly, there are laundry facilities, ample parking, + close to everything you need in town."

"We had a great 9 night stay in a budget cabin. It was quiet and comfortable and they cleaned after 7 days. It's about a 25min walk to town, or there is a 50c bus that picks up not far from the holiday park. The staff was friendly and they can help book tours. The only downside isnthat one of our burners on the stove was broken and the ac, while it worked, the flap that opens to let air out was also broken. "Had a great family holiday with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms were great and very quiet with comfy beds. Great selection at buffet breakfast and so nice to sit by the aquarium. Kayaking, snorkeling, nature trails and lots of day tours as well as relaxing by the pool. Only fault is the menu for lunch and dinner. It didn’t change, even the specials, and we got bored of the food quite quickly. We also were stung with the fish we caught ourselves - $35/ea to cook it and only 2 of our 4 ate it....

"We really appreciate the last minute accommodation as our flights from Hamilton Island were canceled due to bad weather. The room we had was spacious, clean and the staff checked in on us in case we needed anything. The room was well equipped and a great location - close to the ferry building and the local shops/restaurants! "

"Palm Bay Resort, located in the stunning Whitsundays on Long Island, offers surreal views and a peaceful atmosphere. I recently spent 7 days there with my son and loved the convenient location, just a 15-minute water taxi ride from Airlie Beach. While the serene setting is perfect for relaxation, the lack of activities on the island made it less engaging for my active teenager. The food was excellent, but I was disappointed that housekeeping wasn’t done daily. This resort has great potential to become a top destination if the villas were refurbished and more activities were introduced to enhance the guest experience."
