"We had a very bad experience in this hotel. At 2:30 am someone started knocking at our door at least 3 times. I woke up and when I opened the door, there was the bell boy bringing a suitcase that was not ours. After he noticed he got the wrong room, he apologized and left. It was almost impossible for us to get back to sleep and we felt tired all day long. It is unbelievable that a "5 star" hotel has this type of mistakes. "The hotel grounds were lush but the inside of the hotel was decent, and that's the perfect word to describe my overall experience at The Boma Nairobi. The food was just decent. Breakfast? For the money, it was simply "okay." Truth be told, I was disappointed with my stay. The mini fridge had leftover condensation and a bit of mold inside, which might not have been a huge issue to handle had it worked. This is a decent hotel - it's not a 5 star establishment. "
