This was a really good deal especially being so close to time square and the metro…definitely will book again. I just wish the family rooms had a bigger fridge and a microwave other than that it was perfect for the price

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived later than planned and we were upgraded, the rooms are cleaned everyday. Times Square is as you come out the hotel round the corner so it’s an amazing location specially for the price. Will definitely be staying again

The room we had looked nothing like the pictures online. The staff at the front desk didn't give us any direction after checking in, and also failed to inform us that the $150 they charged was a deposit.

The staff is very friendly. My biggest issue staying here is they have one working elevator (sometimes 2 if you are lucky enough to get to use the service elevator) and it has a 7 person capacity. This makes for extremely long wait times

Rooms are extremely small. They will charge you additional fees at the end of the stay. There was no hot water in our room. Rooms are in very bad shape and are clearly not taken care of. Room was also very dirty and it looked like it wasn't cleaned

The property was well priced and located a block away from Times Square. With this property, you get what you pay for. Yet there were wires hanging out of an outlet which caused a minor fire. The elevators take a long time to come and are small.

Definitely disappointed in the condition of the property. Carpet is nasty. Someone’s dried contacts were stuck to our nightstand. Long waits for elevators. Had our thermostat set to 65 and it was still boiling in our rooms. Lighting in rooms was way too dark.

I was really nervous about staying here after reading the reviews and seeing the photos. There were no bugs in my room, the extremely friendly staff cleaned my room spotless with plenty of towels shampoo and conditioner, lotions etc daily. I did not have one thing stolen and all of the workers were over the top curtious at every visit. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions or suggestions for the area. The elevator was the only problem but doable because any other hotel that’s less than 100 feet from Times Square would have charged you double the cost. It’s not a super fancy hotel but I definately wouldn’t compare it to a motel 6. If you want to stay at the Ritz for a more expensive stay it’s right across the street. The only noise issues were the people staying at the hotel. There is not a night club next door it’s an Irish pub that not even on New Years had just a hand full of customers. The wall in between I think were sound proof because we never heard anyone unless it were in the hall or cars and people from the street. If you are a light sleeper anywhere in the city might seem loud but all the walking in New York City wiped me out. The bed we had was so comfortable and the pillows just felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. This was my experience in my room. Also, if you don’t want to feel like your in a closet get the deluxe rooms - it will feel bigger. This is New York and this place is inexpensive considering. I would stay again.
