"The lift was often not working, didn’t bother us too much except when we had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs. The indoor pool was on the chilly side, but everything else was lovely. "

"Lovely place to stay and a bargain to boot - indoor pool and outdoor pool open for those brave enough to take the benefits of a cold water dip in November! Car park tight but not an issue with a small car or when there are plenty of spaces...minor issue with a large car park around the corner. Will certainly stay again if in the area."

"Check in was problematic. Although I'd booked using an Amex through Expedia, the hotel does not actually take this method of payment. This led to an embarrassing situation when my alternative card could not be accepted by their system. Luckily a separate terminal appeared and I was able to pay but all round, a poor check in experience which left me embarrassed in front of my partner."

"Have stayed here many times. Great hotel, service, comfort and very dog friendly. The dogs were made very welcome with treats and lots of fuss. Virtually next to the beach. Eateries and pubs just minutes away. Highly recommended. Helios "

"We had a xmas party to go to for the evening so was looking for a reasonably priced B and B as only wanted a bed for the night. We were sooo lucky to have found this little gem right in the centre of Newquay, owner was very attentive as was the waitress at breakfast. Room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was scrummy. We will definitely recommend you, and book again if we are out in Newquay, thankyou soo much 😉"

"Excellent and comfy....nice location. Poor phone signal if on the 02 network. Internet was great in public areas but poor in the room. Great comfy beds, and an excellent powerful shower. Great space and lovely cushions. Staff were helpful when engaged. Great o cation short walk to the beach and close to the twin of Newquay for shopping."

"The hotel turned out to be comfortable overall. The rooms are spacious and cozy. However, we noticed that some pieces of furniture were already old and needed replacing. There was also a slight musty smell in the bathroom, which wasn’t very pleasant. But none of these issues significantly affected our stay."

"Parking was very convenient, and a common area is provided for storing and serving food (refrigerator, microwave, sink). Most of all, the room was spotless, the staff were fantastic and the breakfast excellent."
