"Friendly staff and I’d like to give a big shout out to my front desk ladies! If I had an issue, they were on it! The parking lot and the area around it are a little sketchy but it’s a very nice location for an easy walk to Ghent or the heart of downtown! Renè was also an excellent bartender. I didn’t try their food because there’s so much good food to go out to so close! "

"Our stay at Meadowlard was fantastic! The property was exactly as depicted in the listing and most importantly, CLEAN. The place is especially great for those with kids. There is a large outdoor area to enjoy and no stairs inside the unit to worry about. Harris Teeter is right around the corner and the beach is a short walk from the property. Property manager was extremely responsive. We will definitely stay here again! "
