"Excellent"

"I will definitely return to Margaritaville- JaxBeach. This property was super clean, well decorated and nicely furnished. It has valet, a shop for merch and food, a restaurant, and a bar/ band setup near outdoor pool area. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. I wasn’t pleased with having to pay to have a microwave in my room. Immediately after checkin we got to our room and the door was wide open with cleaning solution on the counters and the floor was very sticky. I had to walk back down to then be placed in a new room where the fridge was not cold in the room so we had to switch it out bc the first fridge was inoperable. Valet is mandatory at $27/night (sedans) or $32/ night (larger vehicles). The restaurant was delightful with great bartenders and waitresses. The drinks were NICE and the crab cakes were sizzling to perfection not to mention the coconut shrimp/ dip and the artichoke dip too. Amazing plus it’s directly on the beach so perfect location to shops pharmacy Starbucks and more. "

"This was our second time staying at Southern Oaks Inn. It was good for a short stay near the hustle and bustle of St Augustine (about a 5 - 10min drive). We brought our bikes and pedaled into the heart and history of St. Augustine. We love that it is Pet Friendly, it makes a big difference when planning our trips. This hotel offers a dog bed (our dogs loved it) and dog bowl (we appreciate this thought). It’s a bit of an older hotel, however, given this was our second time, we saw the changes from the last time. They’ve done a great job with the upgrades =) At the time of check in they provide you a list of pet friendly places to eat and visit in the St Augustine area. Pet fee is $25 per day (EXTREMELY REASONABLE, compared to what we have seen for other hotels). We will definitely come back to the area and stay here =) "

"This hotel was amazing! All the staff were super including special shoutout to the shuttle drivers! Must stay for sure if you’re in Jacksonville. The rooms were big, clean, and a reasonable price. Would def recommend. "

"We had cold weather so didn’t use the pool or the beach but it looked like a great beach spot. Would go back just to stay for the beach. Nicely maintained. Restaurant was excellent —we did 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. Very friendly, quick, good food. Live music—we missed it first night (stops at 8:00) but jazz guitar the next night was enjoyable. We liked the Guy Harvey Resort. Very affordable. Historic St.Augustine was the draw that took us there but it’s soooo crowded. Hard to find parking. We should have taken the city bus/trolly. We did the Nights Lights tour. Was nice but was hoping for more narration, was just music and lovely lights. Next day we went to the lighthouse. Walked to the top and the museum buildings. Enjoyed that. Guy Harvey Resort was great. Comfortable and friendly staff. I even bought a t-shirt. Lots of Guy Harvey art throughout and nice merchandise in the lobby. All was more affordable than most tourist beach spots. Highly recommend. "
