"Very nice traditional house. Very clean. The host is very friendly and accommodating. However this house is best suited for 4 people or less, not for 6 people nor people that has problem going up steep stairs as the two bedrooms are upstairs. Also, with only 1 shower it is not convenient for 6 people that wanted to shower. The other two people had to find another place to stay since it was super cramped."

"What a great immersive experience to have a little house for our stay in Kyoto, so close to many temples and other areas of interest. The house was cozy and warm in the cold weeks of winter and the large bath and zen garden were a nice touch."

"古民家の雰囲気がしっかりありながらも、とても清潔で食器や小物類も揃っていたので困ることはなかったです。お布団も心地よくぐっすり寝れました。 歩いて数分のところにおしゃれなバーやコンビニ、パン屋さんやピザ屋さんがあって、駅までも歩ける距離だったので家族連れでしたが、何も問題なく過ごせました。 これだけ条件がよくコスパは素晴らしかったです。 また京都に来ることがあったらまた利用させてもらいます。"

"It was a perfect place for us. We walked all around kiyomizu to kawaramachi area. They had everything we needed in the house. The only wish was to have thicker softer mattress on tatami futons next time. :) Thank you."

"Had trouble finding the place, unfortunately had to purchase a hotel because it was getting late. The address on expedia and vrbo are incorrect it seems. Host was very helpful, and found it with extra instructions. It is above a udon noodle shop called “Keage” on google, so its best to keep quite. A 2 minute walk is “Daikoku-yu,” a sauna which I highly recommend! "

"Our stay at Ieno house was such a great experience. The staff was very polite and kind to explain about amenities and also there is an English manual on how to operate all the electronics. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would highly recommend this place. "
