Ideally located but issue with noise and charge
Book the stay for two nights friday and a saturday. Overall the apartment was ideally located in the centre of Nottingham. Garage was next door and there was no issues (separate charge). Could easily access the hotel with a key fob. The apartment was clean and spacious. Had all of the necessary items needed for a pleasant stay. Had a bed in the sofa which is ideal for extra sleeping options. Contact with the owner was completed by email through the hotels.com forum. On friday night i could hear the outside nightlife including the arguments and fighting etc including the police cars up and down the city centre. This was frustrating and annoying as i did not get a good night's sleep. Same again as Saturday night. Was asked for a security deposit of 100 stg no issues, (transferred from the netherlands) Transferred by bank transfer. On completion of my stay the deposit was transferred minus 25 stg charge. This is unfair but i would strongly advise for another method to be used when asking a security deposit. So in summary apartment condition and location is very good. Sadly the noise level from the outside on a friday and saturday was too loud. When returning the deposit to a customer leaving aboard a high transfer fee of 25 stg was incurred. SO PLEASE USE ANOTHER METHOD FOR SECURING A DEPOSIT WITHOUT INCURRING A HIGH TRANSFER TO THE CUSTOMER ON RETURN OF THEIR DEPOSIT.
