"We stay here every time we are in Taupo. Ross is a wonderful host, so friendly and obliging. The rooms are amazing…we stay in the beautiful ‘cottage’ most times. The motel is dog friendly so we bring are fur babies. Location is PERFECT. Love having the Two Mile Bay sailing club literally over the road. "

"Small motel with a path access to the lake. Nothing fancy and room was expectedly cozy but everything was clean and comfortable and the owners helpful and friendly. Good location just outside the town. Nice to walk along the lake and enjoy the scenery of the flowers and mountains. Good value for the money."

"We really enjoyed our sty here. It was very informal and a very unique property. Very friendly, and breakfast was pleasant. complementary charcuterie board was a really nice touch. Great location overlooking the lake from an outside balcony. Lots to see, float planes taking off, parachute planes and free fallers at a distance, boat trips etc can be seen going along the lake. Not too far from town though absolutely need a vehicle. Highly recommended "

"Wonderful place to stay for a little while or an extended period. Our apartment was an upstairs lake front location and the views of the lake were incredible! The layout of our apartment was excellent with enough space in each room for storage. The bathrooms were well designed and roomy with skylight for natural light to stream through.
