"We were by error sent up to a dirty unmade room. It shocked us. Not close to any food services. The room was dark. Bathroom flooded. When i asked for a second cup of coffee i was fiven cold coffee with attitude. I would hsve paid for coffe. Just bad service. "

"front desk staff was so nice. I arrived very early and she was able to let me into my room earlier than the check in time! The transit system around the hotel is very good and there is a great gas station next to the hotel convenience. It is also very close and walkable to many major sites, the beach, museums and more. The room itself was very clean, it was a HUGE room. The bed was comfortable and the re was more than enough space to relax."

"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"Do not stay there. Just before I got in the hotel I was told to buy the reception that I need to go to different hotel because there was something wrong with our room. No one warned me of that before our arrival. We we booked for two nights and we were told to go just for one night in this other place until they fix the room and next day to come back to the hotel. Extremely unprofessional. I demanded that they find a room for two nights so I don't have to pack twice as we were with two kids....

"The outside (building) fresh paint does NOT match interior condition. Staff was amazing and accommodating, they are the only reason I gave the two stars! BUT the actual place is in urgent need of updating! Carpet was so gross we did not want to touch barefoot! I asked if we can change rooms, was shown another and it looked the same. The best I can describe it is a 60s-70s wall-to-wall dark blue mess, that has seen so much chemical treatment it felt like plastic! And yet still covered in stains...

"It’s our second time staying in this hotel. It’s very clean and modern inside, within walking distance to the beach, park, and the city center. Staff is very friendly, and they go above and beyond to make the best for travelers stay. The only complaint that the rooms are pretty small, and our rooms didn’t have drawers, just shelves, for the personal belongings. So, for the short stay this place is fine. "A very nice hotel in the center of Varna. There are many dining options nearby and the hotel itself has a restaurant and bar as well. The breakfast buffet is great and provides lot's of different options, both sweet and savoury. The rooms are rather large and fitted with air conditioners. I will definitely visit again."
