"Hotels.com messed up with communicating with the Hotel. They did however agree to a refund. I did get a room when someone canceled. Apartment was quite nice and comfortable. Location was great, close to entertainment and beach and town center. Overall experience was very satisfactory. I recommend this as an inexpensive, lovely hotel experience. "

"My second time staying in this unit and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The property is well maintained and the unit is clean and comfortable. While I’m on vacation I still have a touch of home by being able to make a meal if I’d like, or hang out on the front patio to enjoy the breeze coming off the ocean. Will definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We woke up every morning to parrots in the tree. It is close to a ton of fun activities. We loved the beach club and they treated me like a queen for my birthday. The property is very clean and the grounds are beautiful."

"Gruesome dreadful property which needs gutting .. kitchen cupboard need ripping out and property needs a good update. DO NOT book this apartment .. we stayed only one night then fled…. Pictures do not depict the actual true state of the property and the managers could not care less … saw cockroaches.. cobwebs everywhere.. old broken furniture… spend your money elsewhere "

"Upon arrival we were surprised by the amount of amenities Mr Kamuzu had left for us. I mean there were towels, disinfectant, soap etc… not only that but the TV had a wide variety of channels on. The living room is quite hot, even with the fan so bear that in mind. However, the bedroom is really cool with the AC. It was a bit smaller than I had anticipated but other than that this is an amazing condo!"

"I needed an emergency stay and Fisherman's Point came to my rescue. I had the only room available. The property isn't the best in terms of cleanliness (the bath and the shower curtains were dirty). "I like the fact that they served authentic Jamaican food as an option everyday , food overall was good .The hotel was very clean , room was clean .They responded to request and concern very promptly. What I didn’t like is that staff need to be more efficient especially in dinning area , on several occasions I had to be looking for a server to give us water or juice at the table ,their was also no napkin at one point and I had to ask the server twice for napkin a mean how can you set a table with nothing for us to wipe our hands , other wise the property was good , service was great I would give them a 8 out of 10 . Great place for family trip .very conveniently located , less than 10 minutes from Dunns river , mystic mountain and dolphin cove if you want to do excursions."

"Hibiscus Lodge is magical! I've been twice and plan to return as many times as i can. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but i love it. The gardens and the landing where you can walk out into the sea are my two favorite spots. The restaurant serves excellent food, and breakfast is included. The area around the hotel is a little seedy by American standards, but i felt safe there, even traveling by myself. The bartenders, Dion, Danvil, and Jatavia, were wonderful and took very good care of me. And Telma, my housekeeper, always had a smile on her face and left my room spotless. The hotel is on a cliff overlooking the sea with incredible views, and there are uneven stone steps everywhere, which to me add to the charm of the place, but may not be good if you have mobility issues. Still, Hibiscus Lodge is a gem!"

"Two words…truly exceptional! This was THE perfect vacation. All inclusive…amazing food and drinks, gorgeous resort, breathtaking views and wonderful people. This was like home away from home. My husband spoiled me with booking the Tufa Terrace Suite and it was worth every penny. Our butlers, Akeem and Fernando, went above and beyond. Sandal’s is the place to stay!! "
