"We had a great time at this bach, we loved being out on the peninsula but close enough to Dunedin to enjoy the best of both. The split levels weren’t ideal for my husband on crutches, but that was my bad as it was clearly explained in the listing. Our son loved the loft bed and we all enjoyed the wood burners, harbour views and native birdsong. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed our stay here, a lovely spot right on the side of the river. The bach was well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. The only shame is that you can't see the view when the deck doors are closed, but we were able to get out on the deck even in the chilly weather! Good stack of firewood which was fantastic."

"We were so impressed with the cottage, which had two queen-size beds and twin beds in a third bedroom and two great bathrooms. The showers were great, with really good pressure. One bathroom had a washing machine and a separate dryer, which we found very useful. There was also a good-sized lounge, dining room and an excellent kitchen, though we did have a bit of a fight with the stovetop. I guess you have to get used to its controls. "Very handy location, only a short drive from town. The property is warm and spacious and has added conveniences like smart tv, coat hangers in the closets, coffee machine and washing machine. The only thing was the water pressure isn't the best so took a bit longer than we're used to for running a bath for our little ones "

"The house suited what we needed to accommodate various family members and to be close to our Dunedin family. Really appreciated the wood burner which kept the living space cosy on the cold winter mornings and evenings. Nadine and Jake were very responsive to queries and fixing the dripping tap. "Great property for family. It had everything we needed and the log fire was fantastic on a cold winter Dunedin day! Host was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Spa pool was advertised but not at the property although not really an issue for us. One or two maintenance tasks needed attending to but not at all detracting from the property. Location was great if you have a vehicle. Beautiful view of the ocean."

"Really enjoyed the location. Was able to take long walks on the beach while still being close to Dunedin for access to its restaurants. House was large enough for multiple adults and had both washer and dryer which was convenient as this was a stop in a longer trip. We really appreciated the electronic keypad entry since we had people coming and going on different schedules. Would definitely stay hear again if I was ever in the area."
