"Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The rooms are very modern and clean. There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests. The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help. Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala. We will happily come back again."

Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. "The boat was nowhere close to what was advertised and what we paid for. Room was advertised as premium but actual was far from it. Very poor room and supporting amenities. Linen, bathroom etc very very poor and not reflecting premium room. Poor linen - holes in linen and towels brown and very worn. No wifi on board even though advertised as with WIFI. No tissues or toilet paper as well as no bath mats. Very unhygienic facility but were asked to walk without shoes onboard."

"We booked a premium room but the room given was completely different to the photos provided. Address was different to what was given on here. Had to wait over an hour for check in time evenknow we arrived within check in time. When we asked about the room being premium we were ignored. On boat staff were fine and accomodating which is the reason I didnt give a lower rating. We ended up booking another place for the second night because we were so disappointed. "

"Kerela houseboats is the middle agency for blue house boats. NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent."
