"This swinging 60’s pad is a stone’s throw from the Ace Hotel, a great excuse to see what celebs are poolside. Discover new L.A-based artists with this home’s contemporary collection of modern art and enjoy the master bathroom soaking tub overlooking the cactus garden." Domino Magazine
This house has been thoughtfully updated and restored with a reverence for the original 60's architecture. The art is largely by Los Angeles contemporary artists and the decor is influenced by our Palm Springs neighbor interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The global style is anchored with furniture by mid-century designers such as Thonet, Milo Baughman and Richard Schultz. A wall of glass in the living room looks out onto the mesmerizing view of the pool and mountain. The stone fireplace is double sided to the living room and formal dining room. A Wolf range outfits the fully equipped kitchen and is adjacent to the pool and wet bar. Three main bathrooms feature Heath tile and terrazzo floors and counters to emulate the original terrazzo entry. And speaking of terrazzo, check out that master bathroom soaking tub surrounded by an enclosed cactus garden. The fourth bedroom has a private entrance and two queen beds and it's own media set-up. Fruit trees encircle the property for that perfect afternoon craft cocktail.
