A property just outside the busy downtown. The king suite room was very spacious, with a king sofa bed-not used by us- and two TVs. The pool area is gorgeous as is the hot tub. While they don’t have a front desk, the whole process was smooth. We were disappointed the French restaurant and the bar opened at 5pm. Earlier would have been nice. Overall we highly recommend the Cole!

Well maintained and very neatly decorated in the mid century modern style. Noise travels fairly easily from room to room however and I was taken aback that parking isn’t free for guests. It’s fairly standard to offer free onsite parking and to charge $15 a night for guests to park seemed outrageous.

This place has a great MCM vibe but that’s about it. Located at the very start of the PS main drag its too far to walk to any bars, shops, restaurants. Our room was in desperate need of paint and the bedding was a sheet set and thin duvet which left us needing to run the noisy wall heater all night, constantly interrupting our sleep. No guest services on site before/after 8pm which is a bummer. I usually love a boutique hotel but this one not so much. I’d say for the price you can choose a better location with better amenities.

Overall the stay was fine. It is a small, but quaint hotel. Looks like they converted the reception area into the bar. The bathroom was small with no counter space and the shower had the showerhead directly above you so it fell like rain. That was not convenient. We only stayed one night so did not try out the restaurant or the pool. We may come back to give those a try.

I don’t remember exactly how many times I’ve stayed at The Cole of the top of my head…but what I do remember is that I have loved every single time I’ve stayed at The Cole. OK, don’t get me wrong. There are some classic Palm Springs hotels that are icons and divas all on their own, but as far as modern world class amenities, that are new, clean and done with the touch of sophistication… There’s no comparison to The Cole. This property is simply a cut above the rest of them. Easy parking, secure access, self check-in these are just a few of the highlights before you even enter your room. And whoa, what a delight that will be. New, sleek, functional living, working, sleeping and fun areas are the norm in every room here at the Cole. I truely love this paradise in the palm desert.
