"Having just spent 5 nights at this hotel we can definitely recommend it. It was ideally placed for our self organised tour of Sri Lanka and, from here, we visited the iconic sites of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and the fabulous Hurulu national park where we saw many elephants. "From the outside the dining area looks clean but my room was dirty with spiderwebs. I had mentioned the water tank was empty but nothing was done to replace the jug. The room wasn’t cleaned when i mentioned to owner he said only upon request. I had requested 1hr late checkout due to my ride will arrive at 11am but he said no I had to checkout at 10am because a group was coming in , he then cut off power and wifi at 8a I couldn’t take a shower and the heat was unbearable trying to pack with no AC...

"Love the service, location and the competitive pricing. There are cheaper ones out there for sure but the service here is excellent. Though you may not need the mosquito net provided, I used it and felt comfortable. There’s no AC but I didn’t need it as the temp was cool at night. I would book it again for sure."
