"La Rotonde is a decent enough hotel for people on a tight budget. It was closed when I arrived mid-afternoon, so I found myself in a beach-side bar for 90 minutes until a hotel employee let me in. There had been a telephone number for reception but no-one answered my call. The staircase to my room was dark and poky and didn't bode well, but the room itself was spacious and cool, the beds were large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. "An attractive small ‘slightly quirky” traditional hotel,- so much better than the modern sanitised hotel chains.Location excellent, overlooking the sea, yet close for the ferry and for the “old” town. It was the staff however who were the stars! Lucie at Reception was delightful and most professional, whilst in the Dining Room Eliza was simply sensational. Her bubbly personality and excellent service made our final night in France one to remember. "
