"We had a family stay at Rydges on New Years Eve. Our room was lovely and we had an excellent view of the fireworks at midnight. Excellent location for transport, public transport, shopping and eateries."

"I booked the cheapest room and it was small but everything inside felt luxurious. The linens were clean and pristine. The elevator/lift had extra security feature of taping room key to access floors. The food and coffee were even good. I loved the view of the city from my room. Outstanding. "

"It is a great location and an easy 2-minute walk into all the great shopping and restaurant district. Close to Ferry Terminal. Excellent cafe Oranga across the road for breakfast. The gym is too small, but the location makes it worth it. "

"Friendly host, balcony room with spa bath (didnt use it), milk and bottled water provided, lovely clean room and comfortable bed. Great stay. All used crockery/utensils are taken away and washed in their dishwasher and replaced with clean ones which is really nice touch not relying on previous guests' standards of cleaning that sometimes aren't the best. Would definitely stay again."

"Was a very comfortable bed. I thought it would be a bit loud having the airport right there but didn’t hear a thing. The parking is a bit confusing. You need to park in the coloured parking building directly across from the hotel (pay reception $15) then you need them to validate your ticket each time you need to leave the parking. Also I Couldn’t for the life of me work out how to use the side table lamps? "
