"Our stay at the Village Highlands Ranch was great. We got there after dark, but had no trouble finding the place. It’s well lit. Check in was a breeze. Rooms are cleaned and beds made every day. There’s a spot for a bonfire; a great way to connect with other guests. Great location; very close to Lassen National. We had a great time. Will stay here again. "
"Check in staff was very friendly.
Beds were umcomfortable
Property was dated and did not seem very clean
Breakfast was disappointing
Smell of weed was very strong even though hotel did not allow smoking"
"We stay here at least 5 times. The location, staff, cleanliness, environment and price are good. The breakfast is limited. However, we are okay with some fruits, yogurt and cup of coffee. We will come again."
"A good, solid, clean, convenient motel. Frankly it was cleaner than other pricey hotels I stayed in during this same trip. I wish all Motel 6 (or even bigger, upscale chains) did as well as this place."
"The management was very friendly and courteous. The bed was very comfortable and room is outdated but clean and i had a nice view of the river. I recommend to stay here, if you are on a budget."
"The Hummingbird House exceeded our expectations. The room was well equipped with what you would need, coffee maker, tea kettle & dishes. The details put into the design were well thought out. We did not peruse the property but it had lots of common area spaces. The hotel is walking distance to many shops & retail shops. This would be a wonderful place to host a bridal party or family reunion. "

"This was a perfect pit stop for our road trip. It was even cozier than the photos show. There was a very large fenced yard which was perfect for our dog to run around and stretch his legs. Quiet, comfy bed, lots of amenities, and even a water filtration system for the sink for cleaner drinking water. Communication was great too. Overall, lovely."
