"While our comfort and experience with Townhouse 213 was closer to a 3 (and a one if you include all the perilous stairs), we have massive respect and esteem for Vickie, who was the point person. She is outstanding at her job. She was receptive to the ideas (long text lists from daughter) that we made for improving the 213 so it can shine like we know it can. We can tell the effort put in to rehabing the house. What we will say so that others can be aware of what we weren't 1)there are stairs...

"Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

"Perfect time away with family! A great unique little spot that had all the comforts of home. I couldn’t believe how well the space was sectioned off - and even a large fridge and a 5 burner stove! We enjoyed sitting outside under the pergola for our meals. A wonderful get away! My kids loved playing “bus driver” to let us in and out of the vehicle. Great experience all around."

"This is a beautiful, contemporary cabin set at the end of a one lane gravel road at the top of a mountain. The views are wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and the bed sleeps great! You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is very quiet and dark at night. I was able to photograph the Milky Way from the balcony of the cabin! If you want a quiet get away close to New River Gorge National Park, this is a great place to escape to."

"Spacious house with lots of amenities and beautiful views. Parts of the house are a little dated (especially the bathrooms) but it is clean and well kept. The roads around the house can be small and a little tricky but still manageable even for a minivan. Originally we were going to have four families staying but half of our group had to cancel - it would have been a tight fit if everyone came, probably best with just three groups. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!"
