The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. "The lodge is 4 miles from Penzance and St Ives. The lodge is in a remote area. It is very quiet. There are walks from the lodge. You will have to drive to the shops and pubs. The lodge was very clean throughout. Bedding and towels have been provided. The lodge has a microwave and conventional oven with two hot plates.
