"Beautiful villa, very well equipped with a very welcoming host, the host even met us half an hour away from the villa, in the middle of the night, to ensure we arrived safely. We were also greeted with a prepared meal and all important essentials, milk, water etc.. The villa was cleaned twice a week with the towels and linen changed. We cannot recommend Harkia Villas highly enough."

The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. "Amazing would be the word to sum up this property. The villa we stayed in was set in a tranquil setting amongst olive trees. The family who own the villa are lovely, can't do enough for you and were there to greet us when we arrived. The family make their own olive oil from olives they grow themselves and it is the best we have ever tried, we couldn't get enough of the stuff. Renting a car is a must, as it's a non touristy village (which we had no problem with) there's nothing in walking...

"Clean, modern villa, accurately portrayed in photos. Staff made us daily brunch and served it at the dinner table overlooking the sea. There’s a cement road between the Villa and the beach, but it was convenient for parking our rental cars. There's a private area on the beach with beach chairs to enjoy. The villa’s garage was rented to a coffee shop/bar and the owners will deliver beverages and meals to you on the beach or at the villa. Nice Bluetooth sound system throughout the villa to enjoy...

"Amazing villa 25 mins away from Rethymno and 12 mins into the mountains. Very quaint and quiet. Loved our stay!"

"The villa was immacualte and in a beautiful location. Overlooking the coast line with a spacious yard and private pool made it a proper place to escape to but with Rethimno only 10 mins drive away. You'll need a hire car to access the property but the road is easy despite being narrow. Only remote downside was the little farm across the driveway has a peacock and roosters so dont expect a sleep in!"

"4 Seasons is a beautiful home away from home, with all the modern amenities and comforts that we would expect and more... We were welcomed by Alexandros who kept in touch and made check-in and out a seamless process. We had a tour of the house and were made really familiar with everything. "The villa Victoria was perfect for our family of 4 and, frankly, it would easily have fit another 4 people while still giving them their space. The pool was beautiful, especially for our post-beach time. The balcony at the back became our favorite spot to sit and watch the landscape. It was also a very private location which was great for us. The host was very responsive and helpful, including coming to our rescue when I locked us out! All in all, this was a wonderful spot."
