"We had a great stay in JT. This home had everything we needed, and the communication with the hosts was incredible. We had issues getting the fire pit started, and the handy man was able to stop by within 30 minutes to teach us how to do it. Unreal! Would definitely stay again. "

"We loved this place! We will be back! Great communication, super comfortable and clean. We went on some great hikes and a ton of time poolside. The house has a gorgeous view and everything you need to feel right at home. "

"We loved everything about it. Just as shown great Palm Springs house. Beds were comfortable, pool and spa were perfect, fire pit was cozy. Location was great. Nice and quiet and pretty. Property manager was great. We will be back again!"

"This house was great, especially the backyard oasis. We were a group of four (two couples 60+) who spent four days alternating between hiking Joshua Tree and exploring the Palm Springs area. While it was a drive to get to each, the house was conveniently located in the middle. We loved having the hot tub to come home to every afternoon. The star gazing in the backyard was also cool. Not dark enough to see the defined Milky Way, but still amazing. We highly recommend Pappy and Harriet’s, as well...

"I stayed here while visiting the wolf sanctuary in Lucerne Valley, like that it is so much cooler in Big Bear. Cabin was cute and comfortable, wish it had been cooler time a year so I could have used the beautiful fireplace. Will love to stay there again on my next visit. "

"Great property,, everything was excellent but the internet and tv kept going out due to work in the neighborhood,, but with the view and fireplace,, didn't matter!!Would stay here again. "

"I wanted a nice place to stay for an evening at Pappy and Harriet's and this was perfect! Sara and Tony were great Hosts and the house was so nice and comfortable. It has all the amenities that you could need! Super central location for the park and just down the road from Noah Purifoy's outdoor museum, always a must-visit when I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks for the visit and I look forward to returning again!"

"House was clean, neat, had all the amenities and Beds were comfortable! Our only negative was the neighbor behind the house kept their back porch very bright lights on all night. This made hanging out in the backyard uncomfortable and any meteor viewing or star watching difficult with them shining in our eyes. The house itself though was great! "

"It’s a little gem of a house… updated, but has the soul of a classic JT casita. Super comfortable bed, nicely stocked kitchen (Utenils, spices & oils, etc.). One thing to note is that the house is actually situated close to the main road — it’s not exactly out in the dark night sky as cars do drive by regularly. Great hosts and perfect communication."

"Great spot five minutes from downtown JT and close to the west entrance of JT National Park. The home and sun room were very cozy, and the backyard has a nice, unobstructed view of downtown. Bedrooms and bathroom were very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and glasses. Parking right out front of the property. Highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat."

"We are three high school friends who get together each year for a few days. This has been annually for about 30 years. Usually we go to the beach but we tried something new and rented this beautiful VRBO in Big Bear Lake! It was perfect! Very clean with lots of amenities. Quiet and clean neighborhood, close to the town. Would highly recommend this home. "

"No big issues with my stay and I could see myself booking this property again. It's located off the main drag a bit so the neighborhood and general building were quiet when I was there. However the walls were a little thin and I could hear my neighbor talking and later snoring. I also wished the ac ran a little colder, it felt warmer than what I had it set to and kept switching off though I don't think it hit that temp. The facilities were very nice and clean though and the pool looked nice and...

"My friend and I came to PS for the weekend. I came across this fabulous hotel, and I decided to give it a try. The hotel is quintessential Palm Springs vibe. It was clean, quiet, and close to downtown PS. My only complaint was that it was a little bit too quiet. Which is not necessarily bad. But my friend and I were looking more for a little bit more of an upbeat. We’ve been to PS in other occasions and some of the hotels have DJ’s in the pool area, and definitely more lively. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel for those who want a more serene environment, and those who want a little bit more of a party vibe, this is not the place. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us. "

"First off the staff is very nice Friendly and accommodating. Great customer service will always be a win for me! The room we got was one of the chalets (Which is super affordable for what you get)it is decorated very nicely boutique style while also still having that cabin feel. 1st night there was a mouse in our room which i mean we are in big bear so it happens but the staff was willing to do whatever it took to make sure our stay was great they even went and bought us new steaks since the mouse took some nibbles out of ours. There is lots to do on the property they do have a really cute bar i was looking foward to but it is only open on the weekends but other than that. It is located just mins from the lake and there is lots of stores nearby. I am extremely happy with my choice of staying at Sessions I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning for future stays. Much better than an airbnb hands down."
