"If you want the Waldorf Astoria, don’t stay in Aquas Calientes. However, If you want a nice low key place to stay at a very reasonable price in Aquas Calientes this place is great. My family of three stayed 2 nights in the room with 3 beds, private bath, and balcony over the water. Alejandra was such a great host for us. The room was clean, had hot water in the shower, and very comfortable beds with warm blankets.
As others have said, it is a little bit of a walk up the hill , but it was...
"Não tinha Aqua quente durante a metade da estadia, e os luzes do hotel estão desligadas..Economiza energia. café da manhã muito simples, 2 pães, margarina, um pouco geleia, queijo e presunto, e chá e café, sem leite. Evita o desperdício
check out e as 9:00, mas deixaram ficar no sofá da recepção com internet até às 16:00. "
"The staff was absolutely amazing. We needed some help finding our guide and a couple of computer issues and they were so kind and helpful. Answered every question. Thank you"
"We liked our stay. The bed was great. Cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor and we appreciated the nice hot shower after a long day out. The breakfast was nice (I would only recommend to offer some milk to go with the coffee). The staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are ever visiting in the area again. Thanks so much!"
"In the advertisement for the property it shows in the photos and says in the room details that the room I rented came with a shower/tub combo. I specifically rented this room because my wife likes to take a bath, once we were at the property the owner said that the room we rented had a tub but we couldn't use it.. and that they had other room that had a functioning tub????????? I'm pretty sure he was trying to scam me to pay more for the same room I already paid for..
Well why wouldn't I get...
"We enjoyed our stay, facility was clean, customer friendly, made to order breakfast at 4:30 AM before we go to Machu Picchu. I will recommend this hotel."
"From poor amenities to terrible bedding, this was a bad stay. Despite advertisements, there is no Laundry Facility, no 24hr desk service, no concierge, intermittent wifi, no coffee shop, and no sound proof rooms. Breakfast was terrible - old and dried out pan de aqua with bad jam and instant coffee. Bedding was horrible. My daughter who had been sleeping on the floor at our relatives house the previous two nights, insisted that the mattress was actually harder than the tile floor and that it was...

"Extremely polite and helpful staff. Accommodated early check in, very helpful. Staff met me at train station for a hassle free easy check in, also very helpful. Management went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Coffee/dining next to the river is magical. "

"A lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the river and was quiet while being a one minute walk (if that) to the action. The staff was great and took our bags to the train station and met us 30 minutes before departure. I highly recommend!"
