We can’t say enough about this gem of a place. We ate dinner down the way at the Swells Cafe Playa Grande. This is a very special place to be! I plan on returning in the future. "I was skeptical about staying here at first based on the reviews they appeared to be a hit and miss. If you want luxury this may not be the place for you. We were there for a short time not a long time and it was suitable for my needs. The room is just what you see online. The only complaint is that the first night it was a bit warm. After that it was right on time. The rooms were cleaned every day.I wished they had decorated my room for my birthday but that was okay. The view was very nice and I shouted from the balcony on my birthday. The staff were friendly. I saw reviews about the language barrier, please be patient, they will find someone to help you. We had no issues with staff speaking English. I enjoyed the inside and outside bar. Brenda, Felipe, Bryan, Juan, are just a few that made my birthday so memorable! The breakfast and dinner was very good. Lunch was mid. Overall I enjoyed my stay and so did the group I was with. Find Carlos for a great spa service. My massage by Jaqueline was amazing. There is plenty to do here. If you need a sign to book here do it! Although the new site next door is opening October 4. I will be back soon. Thank you Rui! "

"The property is located in a good spot, away from the craziness of downtown but close enough you can walk. The beach area in front is one of the surfing hotspots if that's what you are looking for. Mainly I would say the staff at this place is the best anywhere that we've been in years. They are friendly, helpful and all around amazing."
