As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. "IlWe went in the office season and literally had the entire house to ourselves. We had our own designated room but all the other guest rooms were open and it felt like being in a home and not a hotel. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and nice pillows.
