"Disappointed husband's birthday was not acknowledged, even though I informed reservation when confirming booking. Bedroom was functional but not inspiring, fake plants made it look tacky. Breakfast was ok. But staff had to be asked to replenish eggs etc. Bacon was overcooked & like leather. staff never offered poached eggs or other options."

"When we arrived we were greeted as we parked up and our bags were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and fresh. We were given a time for breakfast with a variety of options. Food was delicious, hot and well presented. The owners were always available until 7pm and very helpful about where to go if eating out or wanting entertainment. We would definately recommend and stay again however as sisters in our 70's we would ask for a room on the lower floor."
