The resort was amazing. Incredible staff always trying to help you with everythere was one big issue. They do not heat up any of their pools. The kid's pool is ice water. My daughter cannot enjoy the entire trip. The other 2 pools are slightly warm. This made the state extremely hard to enjoy. We went strictly for the pools and the pools were not heated.issue. They do not heat up

We enjoyed our time at Royalton Splash. Just some minor suggestions - ask guests to return their pool towels so that other guests know when chairs are vacant. Simple thing and everyone could benefit from knowing. Most disappointing meal was at the Mexican restaurant Afave… off as we were in Mexico, you’d think it’d be the best. Otherwise we enjoyed our time.

This is the only property in Mexico that I want to return to. The facilities and staff were awesome. The Dimond Club I found to expensive and not worth the price so I skipped it. We had no issues getting into the restaurants we wanted (keep in mind this was in January). The food was the only downside but this seems to be par for all all-inclusive. Hunters was our favorite and so was Rio. The pools were great with lots of options. We had a swim up room and loved the option of floating around with my book and not being disturbed. They have lots of bars, you never had to go far to re-fresh your drink. The staff, I found would bend over backwards to make sure you were happy. Best resort staff I have ever dealt with. My only real complaint is the cost for the fun zone. We would have liked to bowl and the kids would have spent more time in the trampoline park if the prices were a bit more reasonable. If you are looking for a fun experience with the kids, this is the place to be!

Food was ok. Buffet was the best choice. Krystel was amazing. Jonathan, Diego, Fabian, Orlando, Sandy, Israel, Alejandra and Carlos were great.

Hotel is not a 5 star. Maybe a 4 star if that. Food was mediocre, rooms smelled of mold, our room had a leak in the ceiling, our washroom door didn’t close. We had diamond service. Our butlers were great and got us into the specialty restaurants. The Indian restaurant I would have to say was the best. Water park looked like fun but we didn’t use it. Check in was so disorganized. Waited 4 hours for our room. Entertainment was good but seen better at other Royalton resorts. This was our 4th Royalton and the worst.

Had a great time. Lots of dining options - I’d give food 7/10 which I think is great for an all inclusive. Several pools (even outside of diamond club) and didn’t have too much trouble getting chairs each day. Loved the beach!! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Will go back.
