Nice but bit noisy at times
"Very nice room. Spacious and clean and well appointed, so no issues there. Only slight moan was that it was a bit noisy as not well insulated from outside noise, and 2 out of 3 nights had large group of what looked like hotel staff sitting at entrance to hotel talking and laughing at 10.30pm. It was handy having the mall and shops so close. Well worth the extra wee drive to Mt Smart Stadium to avoid the city traffic!

A couple of nice cafes, nowhere to go out for dinner that wasn't super expensive or very basic. Nothing to do to kill a couple of hours while waiting to check into motel.
