You need to stay 7 nights to get a meal at the other restaurant and the sky bar isn’t included. "Decor was a bit outdated in the rooms but they were clean and cleaned daily by the housekeeping team so no real complaint there. Overall a great location and despite it being so large with so many guests that stay there, there was never a queue for reception or when getting breakfast"

"Situation of hotel is brilliant, we have stayed here many times. The hotel has new management. This was our first stay that the bedding was not changed for our 10 day stay which is why we gave a 4 star review instead of out usual 5 star. My wife scalded her self in the shower as the shower was not a thermostatic shower. "

"This is a great no frills place, modern, clean and well located for the city centre. Prepare to trek around 15 minutes up and down some stairs to get to the beach. The staff are super helpful, I'd stay again."

"This was a fantastic place to stay, we did not arrive until 2am but this was no problem , the staff booked us in quickly and got us a taxi to our room , the apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, when we woke in the morning we could see the most amazing view of the pool and sea , the room was close to the beach , Pam’s pantry and Zack’s restaurant , all the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. "We had an amazing 5-nights stay at Barceló Malaga. The location is key, especially that it’s connected to a shopping centre and a major train station. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact they had shower robes. The only drawback is their elevators, they are tiny compared to the size of the hotel and it can get very warm inside. Thank you very much Barceló Team, you made our stay in Malaga very enjoyable and comfortable. "
