Table tennis table a nice touch and whirlpool in the corner of the pool. Three washing machines (and tablets) available to use at any time. Ample basement parking. "Nice hotel, clean and adequate room, although it needs updating. Unfortunately it’s the area around the hotel that lets it down. I witnessed 3 separate muggings on the street - including an older couple who were staying at the hotel. Not enough police presence. Unpleasant place to stay when you cannot relax. It’s a shame for Fuengirola but I will not be returning "

"I have stayed in this hotel on a previous visit to Fuengirola. I decided to book it again because it is a very clean, comfortable hotel in an excellent location being only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and only 2 minutes from the beach. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The room I got on this visit, however, was not as spacious or bright as on my previous visit. There was no wardrobe, only an exposed hanging rail with just 2 hangers on it....

"Considering the property was a Hostel, [my first] rather than a Hotel, I liked my stay very much. Only bugbear was the shower, which was only large enough to turn around in. "I was not happy that this huge resort that was almost empty ( low season of November / floods) and yet I was assigned a room that had a door separating it from the next one ( junior suite) occupied by family with little kids. Annoyed little with noise. I would have complained but noise stopped around 9:00 PM which was bearable. The staff were very friendly. "

Location is great and there is a bus that takes you into Fuengirola town, but also there is a big supermarket next to the hotel and a Lidl down the road. We dropped bags in bag store and went out to explore and they were brought back to our room at 1600. "We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Given the price, we did not expect much but as we needed a place to sleep and go in the morning all we hoped for was a clean, safe place. The Hotel Marbella's staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean (and all in all what we actually needed for this 1 night) and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is a few minutes to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Considering the price, I believe the hotel over-delivered."

"Very clean and in a fab location for the beach and restaurants. The instructions for checkin could easily be improved by naming the property management company. Although shower gel was included, there is no soap on the wash basin - so make sure you bring your own. The same goes for conditioner. Also, make sure to bring your own beach towels.
