"I was not happy that this huge resort that was almost empty ( low season of November / floods) and yet I was assigned a room that had a door separating it from the next one ( junior suite) occupied by family with little kids. Annoyed little with noise. I would have complained but noise stopped around 9:00 PM which was bearable. The staff were very friendly. "

"When we arrived early as check in was 1600 they allowed us to check in and gave us free upgrade which was much appreciated. We dropped bags in bag store and went out to explore and they were brought back to our room at 1600. "I stayed here for a few nights in November and absolutely loved it. The room was large and clean. The hotel is very nice. The food was REALLY good! Staff were kind and helpful. There was an issue with adjusting my stay that Expedia tried to help with but the hotel did not respond to which is a shame. But regardless of that, I will definitely return. "

"Clearly the largest hotel in the vicinity. I would describe the hotel as very fit for purpose. The room was spacious with a delightful balcony which allowed the sound of the rolling waves to be heard. The dining room was understandably large but it meant that there was always a place to sit. A great variety of food was available and if you like your pudding then this is the go to place! The staf, whilst busy, were all friendly and attentive. "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was excellent and a good variety. Room was clean and balcony big enough for sunbathing too. We loved the spa in the morning and beach club just across the road was the best fun! All pools were clean and safety was a priority. Plenty of activities for children and excellent entertainment in the evenings. There are gift shops, arcade and bars on site and swap shop at reception where we left sunscreen and kids items for the pool. Will definitely be back...

I witnessed 3 separate muggings on the street - including an older couple who were staying at the hotel. Not enough police presence. Unpleasant place to stay when you cannot relax. "We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Given the price, we did not expect much but as we needed a place to sleep and go in the morning all we hoped for was a clean, safe place. The Hotel Marbella's staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean (and all in all what we actually needed for this 1 night) and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is a few minutes to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Considering the price, I believe the hotel over-delivered."
