"We got to the property at around 3:30 and the room was not ready yet. We waited in a lounge room that has games and free coffee. The property does not have parking, so you have to use public parking about 30.00 USD a day. The breakfast was so crowded we did not stay. The shower was very small, kept hitting the glass doors. "Only six minutes driving from the city center. It was rather hard to get Ubers/bolts so we took the bus which was a four minute walk from the apartment. The apartment directions were easy and the apartment was clean. Would definitely recommend "

"We stayed for 1 week 20th - 27th December 2024 and had a family room (2 adults & 2 kids - 11yrs and 14yrs). The room was fairly tight but we did all squeeze in. The kids shared a double sofa bed and the mattress was just about ok for them comfort wise. The shower was powerful and hot. The hotel location was perfect, quick walk into the centre and well positioned for all the tour pick up points. Breakfast provided a big range of options and whist it looked freshly prepared, all of the 'hot' food was cold, luke warn at best. We did opt to eat one evening meal in the restaurant but £196 for 4 of us and the 'hot' food was stone cold yet again. If they can improve the food, this would be a 5 star hotel for a trip to Tromso"

"This property is a hidden gem in City Center, very close to all the attractions, restaurants, with a large indoor hotel within the Vander property. Staff is very courteous and they go above and beyond to help people out, patiently. Vander also tours, outstanding Wi-Fi access, free luggage room, and convenient stores within a few feet. I strongly recommend this place for stays more than 5 days to a week."
