"The property is very homely and staffs are very helpful and friendly including the owner. However we quite surprised that there is no AC in the room. So we need to keep the front door open for fresh air. When doing that bugs and houseflies came into the room which is quite annoying. The room is quite well equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, a king bed and 2 single beds. Good for family of 4. Toilets is also very clean and all essentials are there. "

"The best place I have ever stayed and I travel all over the world. When I first walked in I felt right at home the Host was brilliant remarkable decor. He paid attention to the white in the office gas if I had a choice I would never leave and if I ever come back the cape town Mitchell guest house will be the first place to check in. He has this three amazing animals a big greedy(so bring extra bacon)but they're very friendly and lovable. If I could give it 20 stars I would because he deserves...

"We did not actually stay overnight at this property; we viewed the property and opted not to stay. As a family with a small child, it didn't feel very family-friendly; similarly, I don't think I would have felt very comfortable staying there if I were a solo female traveler. We saw a group of men gathered in the common areas, but no other women or children. "We really enjoyed our stay, it is in an old house that has character. The owners are really friendly and we enjoyed good conversations with them. We even could use their breakfast room one day when it was too rainy to use their roof terrace. If you like older properties with little nooks and crannies and some steps here and there and nice fixed up rooms then this is your place. Lots of plants around as well. On the whole: good stay, we can recommend the place."
