"We were charged $15 extra for parking. In the past this has been complimentary. We were told it's because of the booking site we used. We went for cheapest site but in the end it wasn't because of this. Just a note to be aware of this"

" Here’s a polished and more fluid version of your review: We were dropped off right at the doorstep by the airport shuttle in central Dunedin, which was so convenient. The hotel kindly stored our bags while we explored, and we popped into Maggie’s, one of the many charming cafes surrounding the area. "We stayed in Room 26 and the views were some of the best we have encountered anywhere in the world. We even had a view from the loo! Staff were friendly and very helpful. The Barker family has done an excellent job restoring the Castle and providing employment in the area. We would definitely stay again."
