"We were here to view the xterra triathlon. This is a tiny town but the accommodation was excellent with a nice staff and excellent breakfast and meal options. "I stayed here for 2 nights in 4 days, same room both times so cannot comment on different room types. From the moment you walk through the entrance the welcome is very warm. Check-in quick and very friendly, glass of bubbly if that floats your boat. The hotel has the feel of a grand country house with generously sized rooms, a separate closet/ room for clothing etc and a good-sized bathroom. "The meeting that I was schedule to attend in Neuchatel was cancelled a full six months before it was to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When I attempted to communicate with the hotel both through Orbitz and directly to see if I could get a refund, partial, refund, or postpone my reservation until next year, my queries were met with silence. Clearly not a guest-customer oriented establishment. The kept the deposit and didn't say a word. Very poor customer relations."

"Great accommodations for a small mountain town. The building was gut renovated in 2019 after having sat dormant for years after the previous hotel on site was burned down. Loved the inside vibe though the decor inside the hotel rooms were a bit sparse (spacious though). For Americans, there is no AC (not particularly uncommon) so beware. Hostess was good at communicating late checkin procedures since we did not arrive at the property until 10 pm. Overall lovely stay with all our basic needs...

"this was a disappointing stay. The room was not at all like the photo on the website - smaller and more basic. The breakfast was OK and the views nice but the service was neither welcoming nor hospitable. The main issue we had was with the WIFI - our booking indicated it was available in the room but when we arrived we were told by the Reception staff that there was only WIFI in the lobby and a few rooms above the lobby which according to the staff were more expensive. This was not made clear...
