The only negatives were the bed was broken so had a very bad sag. I ended up sleeping on the couch. Be aware the stairs are very steep, especially if carrying up luggage. There is no lift"

"Great location for getting anywhere Istanbul has to offer. Helpful staff but the housekeeping is hit and miss. You only get 1 bottle of water per room which is a bit stupid. Still it is a good hotel for the price point. Location is top notch, 1 block from the Galata Bridge and Metro Line 1. Plus 50 feet from the Tunnel tram right up to Taksin. Buy one Metro card, load it with some money and pass it around to your party for Metro travel. No need to buy each one a card. "
