"It was our first tike here in Thailand and we loved everything in the hotel. All the amenities were amazing. The food at the buffet was amazing, the staff was very friendly. There was this girl named Sam when you check into the buffet she was amazing. So Helpful and friendly. Our flight didnt leave until nightime and they have a lounge where you can relax and shower. Overall, I would stay here again. I would give this hotel a 10 star rating "

"The slate is one of the best resorts in all of Phuket. We have been to many different places here and the Slate has it all. From Black Ginger to the cooking classes this place is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful resort with every amenity you could ask for! With this beauty and service comes a price tag that is expensive for Thailand standards but still somewhat affordable. The breakfast is a delight and the service is perfect from check in to servers and working staff everyone is top notch. Great place for families and couples alike."

"This resort is beautiful! The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is exceptional - they are service focused and anybody is able to help with all of your needs. Our room was very clean with amazing views of the beach. There is an adult pool and multiple kid friendly pools. The beach was lovely and also very well maintained. Since it is on the west coast we were able to see some amazing sunsets! There are many different options for food and drinks and everything was reasonably priced. Highly recommend this resort! "

"Property is very nice - very quiet and serene. Beach requires shuttle/boat, which isn’t bad but it’s not really walkable. The boat is a bit irregular on schedule. One night we were stuck on beach for longer than expected, but staff at the partner beach resort and banyan tree helped us with the shuttle."

"We had a truly wonderful expwrience while staying here. Everything was well thoughtout and the staff made it very welcoming. The only draw back would be is to have your laundry done somewhere else, ro expensive to have to done by the hotel."
