Located between Russian Hill and the Presidio, Cow Hollow is a relaxed neighbourhood known for its shopping and dining around Union Street.

The neighbourhood is called Cow Hollow because when it was settled, a majority of it was used for cattle grazing. Happily, you don’t need to watch out for moving bovines during your visit. Now it’s all about grazing your way through all the trendy restaurants and cafes serving everything from raw snacks to Belgian waffles.
