## Space

Immaculately renovated upstairs studio in a multi-unit building only two blocks from Downtown Santa Barbara & State Street. The original Spanish architecture has been preserved while offering modern upgrades & conveniences.

This 286 sqft queen-bed unit has a flat-screen smart TV with streaming, casting, or Airplay features and a Samsung split heating/AC system for ultimate comfort. A private en-suite bath with a rain shower and a kitchenette with Nespresso, microwave & mini fridge complete this stay in Santa Barbara.

NOISE DISCLAIMER: This unit is above lower units; please know this when booking as noise transfers downstairs. We ask for extra diligence in this unit to respect noise levels at all hours to avoid disturbing downstairs guests. Noise can also be heard from downstairs units.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm-8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

*Our cleaning fee includes professional cleaning of the unit and outdoor space. As part of The Living Wage Pledge, we are committed to paying our cleaners fairly. A living wage is a minimum income necessary for someone to meet their basic needs and participate in their community.*

*To support sustainable tourism and reduce our carbon footprint, we provide Public Goods toiletries, compostable sponges, trash bags, and green cleaning products.*

## Access

This is a self-serve stay. We provide contactless self-check-in. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, and a unique code will be generated and sent to you on check-in day.

Parking and EV charging (shared amenity):

Casa Jardin offers free guest parking in its private parking lot at the back of the property. Please use free street parking if the lot is full. One parking spot per unit on a first-come, first-serve basis. EV chargers are available for guests to use during their stay. Two shared J1772 chargers are mounted on the left side of the parking lot. Two shared Tesla chargers are located on the right side of the parking area. Please bring your own adaptor if needed, and please disconnect when not charging to allow other guests access to the chargers. Casa Jardin does not monitor parking spot use and we are unable to request guests to move their vehicles.

## Tech

This complex does not have live TV service. Instead, all TVs have apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. The property has gigabit wifi, and the unit has a private network for guests to cast directly onto the TV.

## Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

## Neighborhood

Located within walking distance to nearly all restaurants and retail stores on the State Street corridor, 20+ tasting rooms, 10+ breweries, and countless choices for eating or drinking make this an ideal location for anything that may bring you to the world-renowned Santa Barbara Coast.

Please note that there is an active construction site across the street, led by the City of Santa Barbara. Per the city's noise ordinance, construction work is allowed from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weekdays) and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Saturdays). Work is prohibited on Sundays and legal holidays. We apologize if you experience any disturbance due to this work - it is beyond our control :(

Our room was clean, modern and inviting. Even though we were near the center of town, it was also very quiet. Everyone we spoke with regarding our reservation was so helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The only caveat I have is that with two adult women, it would have been great to have somewhere to put our clothes. There is a closet with hangers, but no drawers.

Beautiful Property & Comfortable Stay!
This is a beautiful new multi-unit property within walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Santa Barbara/State Street! The unit was very well appointed, stylish and extremely comfortable. The bed and bedding were super plush and cozy. The kitchenette has everything you could possibly need for a short stay, especially the Nespresso machine. It was really convenient having parking onsite as well. The management/hosts were very friendly and helpful as well. This is a very well run and maintained vacation rental. I will definitely stay here again!

Super amazing support staff, new bedding and kitchen supplies a/c unit state of the art very small yet well designed studio with two week summer availability was just the ticket when my vacation rental cxd last minute. Upstairs with peak at the mountains added a lot. Public Goods soaps/ coffee capsules were huge bonus for a longer stay it would have been great to have a fold down kitchen table and kitchen chair since the larger units were booked for some of the days I needed to stay..I’d have loved more art and less tv which gave the space a generic feel. Thanks for everything.

EASY BREEZY & NOTHING CHEESY
I love this place!! I'm spoiled by 5 star hotels and fancy schmancy stuff, and this ranks up there in terms of the kind of customer service that makes things easy and the kind of decor / aesthetic that makes you feel calm and the kind of cleanliness that makes you not feel icky. The room was extremely clean and beautifully appointed with top notch fixtures and appliances. It's airy and bright and the designer did a great job with the decor and the small, thoughtful details, such as a disposable bamboo toothbrush with toothpaste on it or the sound machine made you feel more at home. The location was perfect for us. Traveled with husband and toddler and we were totally comfortable in this size room. My husband stayed again in the smallest room available on a separate trip and said it was perfect for him solo for one night. We have parents who live nearby this hotel that we travel up to from LA to see often, so we don't need a place with all the amenities as SB is sort of a second home vs vacation destination. If you're an LA or SB native and you don't need a pool or whatever, you should definitely consider staying here because it's pragmatically fantastic!
